What is there about the moon that fascinates us?

It's nearness to us, what?

Well, first off, Gene, it's really nice to be back with you and Chris and to reacquaint myself with David.

Once again, we're going to hit on one of my favorite

topics, which is the moon lunar transient phenomena, lunar mysteries. I guess, you know,

there's nothing in the sky that's any more familiar to just about everybody on this planet than the moon.

It's always been there. Every time we go outside in the evening and we look up, chances are we're

going to see it. It's that familiar face. Human kind have used it for centuries to tell itself when to plant crops, when it's

time to harvest crops.

Men and women, lovers have gone out, cavorted under the moon since time in Memorial.

I mean, it's just one of those things that we all take for granted.

But here's the other thing. Back in 1961, when President John F. Kennedy pledged that America was not only

going into space that also by the end of that decade,
