A lot of apologies in the news lately, and people are like, was that a real apology?

Was that a real apology? Did somebody write that?

There's always that discussion when a celebrity apologizes for something or other.

I don't know about any of that. I do know this. I think it's harder to ask for forgiveness than it is to

forgive people most of the time. I mean, it's hard to forgive somebody. Don't get me wrong.

But asking for forgiveness and meaning it is really difficult. It's kind of like the big question of life

for us, I think. Think about it this way. God has already done what it takes to forgive us,

and that was excruciating, but it's done. He's willing to. It's not a question of, can I get God to forgive me for what I've done?

It shouldn't be.

He is willing.

He's proven it.

He's done the work already.

The real question is, am I ever going to be humble enough to actually ask for forgiveness and mean it?
