and today we're looking to a number of stories and issues in the news.

We'll begin with Trump's orchestrated campaign to rewrite his history with Epstein and Maxwell,

as he is done with Russia helping him win in 2016, and how he claims he actually won the presidency in 2020.

With the release of the transcripts of his former defense lawyer's softball interview with

Maxwell and the dribbling out of 1% of the Epstein files to a friendly House committee,

we are being told by Trump that we are stupid and should believe the nonsense he is peddling,

as his followers in Maga World will surely do.

Joining us is Nina Burley, a senior editor at the New Republic, best-selling author, documentary

producer and publisher of the Substack American Freak Show, a professor at New York University's

Arthur J. Carter Journalism Institute. She's written seven books, the latest of which

Possible. She's the producer of a documentary series on Apple TV, Epstein's Shadow, and has an

article at her substacked, The Plumbers of Epstein Gate. Then we get an update on Saturday's

demonstrations by the residents of Washington, D.C., against the military occupation of our nation's

capital. Joining us is James Fallows, an award-winning author and national correspondent for the

Atlantic. He previously worked as President Carter's chief speechwriter

and was editor of U.S. News and World Report. His books on media and politics include
