This morning, the big news was that a winning powerball ticket was sold in Watertown, the winning powerball ticket, worth $750 million.

Apparently, the lump sum was about $480 million after taxes.

I think it was three something.

Was that we figured out of take home.

I think WCVB had a breakdown that said at, you know, in Massachusetts,

if you take the lump sum, you pay the federal, you pay the state, you're going to be walking

with $333 million.

Okay.

So we knew that every news camera was going to be out in front of the handy variety store out

in Watertown.

And sure enough, woke up this morning,

and they were.

And so, of course, where there is the lottery, the winning lottery station, there is...

The Wallachhead showed up.

So Byrd went out there, and apparently, judging by my count, from the tweets we've been getting,

he's been on not only all the local channels, but he was on Good Morning America. Also, CNN, apparently he made it on to this morning. So, John, you're worldwide. Everyone knows where I'm excited about this. Fantastic. But here's the best part of this. So after, what, three straight hours of live newsbreaking, and everyone in front of this one lottery store and them

interviewing the owner and then there was fat hardy who was there the guy who had the same shirt is

hardy but he was you know looked like a before and after picture similar shirt

sure it was like you know it was a mix between Hardy and Pauley from Rocky.

Now, news is breaking. Apparently there was a mistake by the mass lottery. The actual winning Powerball ticket was not sold in Watertown. What? No, it was sold Chigapy. They're in the complete wrong city. Well, that's nowhere near Watertown. At all. So they're not even there. And so to that, I say, thank you for screwing up because there's no way I would have bird drive all the way to take it.

So every network morning show had a correspondent on site standing in front of that Watertown convenience.
