okay we're mixing a few Red Sox thoughts and get to your phones. And I'll have this giveaway here for you in a few minutes as well. Red Sox again take two out of three from New York. If Mazz or Jay Stewart were here, they're not. Jay Deere is behind the glass helping us out. And Jim Murray's in for Mazz. I start off this hour by asking, are you guys going to finally buy in and stop the nonsense? Jimmy better. Like after this, like, what else does he need? So he said he wanted to see how it looked like. I said, even I said, going to the weekend, if the socks take two out of three, we'll, you know, get off your perch. He said, can I see what it looks like. I'm like, fine. So, if he was watching, how did he like what it looked like? Were those fluke wins? Were those wins that were mirages? Were they lucky? Like, you tell me? No, not at all. Those were quality wins. There was a fun weekend for them. Hell, they even had a chance to win on Saturday night. If the manager wasn't such a dunce sent in Brock Holt.

But still, overall, two out of three for the Yankees, two weekends in a row.

I thought even after last week, Mike, that they wrapped up the division. Now with this, please. Like, there's nobody, the Yankees are not close to them. They are not. Okay, I don't, I think the Red Sox are clearly a better team. I don't know how you could look at these games and say otherwise.

And maybe if you needed these games to have that proven to you, fine,

I mean, that Yankee bullpen scared me on paper. But then you watch him like this Canley kid, like I think he's a train wreck.

And Chapman has gotten demoted.

There's like, so that Yankees bullpen isn't what it is on paper.

And so if they don't have that, their lineups going south, Aaron Judge is going south.

You know, portions of that lineup are, you know, they're a mess going in the wrong direction. They're on a borderline mess compared to you. Especially with the thing that happened on the bullpen. I mean, it's not just Joe Madden that helped ruin Eraldus Chab and so did the Red Sox. I mean, him getting demoted. At least that was smart. It should be, to me, it should be either Robertson or Dillon Patansis as they're closer, but still, they're dealing with a lot of issues there. And their lineup is not what the Red Sox.

Four in the lost column, right. and that is, you know, certainly well within reach. And unless they pick up a Justin Verlander through waivers with Detroit, and he looked untouchable against the Dodgers over the weekend. I just don't know if they have the pitching to hold up. The Red Sox can do this. And I think it's extremely important because you don't want to face Cleveland in that first round. Because I still think that's the worst possible matchup in Cleveland is better than the Red Sox.
