This is effectively having a flat fare as low as five pounds for the one hour hop from Durham to York, up to 50 pounds for a first class, eight hour experience travelling from beautiful Inverness to London.

It's limited availability, of course, you can only use it in a certain number of days

from the 6th of September to mid-October, and you are going to have to book in advance. Now,

they have got lots and lots of tickets available, but they are understandably being swallowed up pretty
