Today we are in August 1999 talking about Blair Witch and Nookie. But first, I want to introduce our very special guest, Jared Karabas of Barstool Sports, Section 10, and frequently on Kirk Minahan Show. How are you, Jay?

Yeah, how is it going, guys?

I'm excited to do this.

This is a, this is like a wheelhouse week for me in terms of, like, I was 10 around this time.

And, I mean, we'll obviously get into it, but this is, this is a wheelhouse week for me.

Did you see the Blair Witch project in the movie theater?

I did. Did it scare the absolute shit out of you? Yes. And it's still, so people will ask me now,

like, what do you think is the scariest movie that you've ever seen? And I'll say the ring.

And I think it's because it was scary to you at the time that you saw it. Like my parents will

maintain that the exorcist is the scariest movie of all time.

It's like, you watch that now and it's like, that's, it's not, I mean, it's scary,

but it's like, it's not scary because of how it's made compared to how movies are made now.

But I think that that's kind of like the time period is like Blair Witch is the one B to the rings

1A for me because of the time period that it came out like I was 10 years old like I thought it

was real I remember and there's going to be a crossover here a little bit because I remember

on TRL they were talking about the Blair Witch project yeah and they were kind of talking about it as if it was like a real found footage film.

Like people didn't quite know if it was real or not.

Yeah, that was, yeah, absolutely.

So just a good example of how insane it was was they hid the actors so the three leads in that movie
