0:44.6	Welcome to the news hour. Former president Donald Trump has expected to appear in federal court in
1:01.1	Washington, D.C. tomorrow to enter a plea on charges that he illegally tried to overturn the
1:07.0	results of the 2020 presidential election and remain in power. Those alleged actions, which
1:13.4	resulted in violent riots in the halls of Congress, are the most grave accusations to date
1:19.1	against Mr. Trump. William Brangham starts our coverage with the recap of the historic indictment.

1:32.3	special counsel Jack Smith's indictment, the United States of America versus Donald Trump,
