So just want to comment on the Yockey Way situation quickly.

I personally believe that the only reason John Henry is asking the city of Boston to rename Yockey Way

is because doing so will not cause any revenue loss for the Boston Red Sox,

and it will be a decision supported by the majority of the fan base.

If John Henry wanted to remove majority of the fan base.

If John Henry wanted to remove all of the content in and around Fenway Park that has an affiliation with racism or anti-Semitism, he could do so inside the ballpark that his group

owns, and he wouldn't have to ask permission from the city of Boston.

Just two quick examples.

The John Hancock sign over the

center field scoreboard should come down because John Hancock and his family bought and sold slaves.

The Ford advertisement sign on the right field bleacher should come down. Henry Ford owned a

newspaper in Michigan that published both anti-Semitic and racist commentary during the 1920s.

The obvious reason Henry is asking to rename Yockey Way is because he'll get an add-a-boy

from the majority of the fan base, and it won't affect his wallet.

If Henry does not remove the John Hancock and Ford signs from the ballpark,

it proves that he cares more about his money than what he says he believes in. So how many years ago? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. When was John Hancock again? Oh, we're talking about this declaration of independence? So you're going back, you know, 250 years. Right. So I don't know. I mean, like I said, I think there's just, again, that's just someone who's on the right who's butt hurt that there's a PC thing that's going to win.

Okay.

So he's butt hurt.

But, I mean, I just think at some point you draw the line, you know, and I think that Tom Yawke's name went up there in 1977.

It did.

Not 1777.
