First of all, I went back and listened to that clip for the first time,

and I'm talking about just the whole thing, not the just get the duckboats ready that everybody knows.

And I didn't realize it at the time, but his voice cracked the first time he said that.

The get the duck boats ready, he said a second time because he had a little, what is it Peter Brady or Bobby moment where the voice cracks a little bit of that's Peter is it Peter and I think he's getting choked up I don't think it's fair to say that Dave Gosher was somehow going through his second puberty I think it was well it's always in the big moment it's like you're doing time for change in your voice cracks or you're calling the Stanley Cup championship.

It could be one way or the other.

It's the first thing I have time I actually noticed that.

And the second thing is, is that I'm so glad Hardy you're in studio today because if there's anyone that can put a perspective in, a perspective on what it's like to live in such a weird city like Las Vegas, a city that is just built completely on

entertainment and outside of that downtown area, a lot of people don't really know what living

in the city of Las Vegas is like. Well, I think Gosha and I are going to have very similar

experiences there, him with a man in his 40s, already married, stable job, you know, needing to speak for hours every other night throughout the course of a, you know, seven or eight-month season.

And me, moving there, is a 25 or 26-year-old having to talk. Let's see. Nighttime radio show, what do you think the total minutes of talking per hour were?

Three and a half, four?

Three and a half minutes.

There were some nights where I maybe didn't even talk that much because when you've been up for 24-plus hours and the voice isn't really working anyway.

Yeah, but certainly there is a, I think, a trick to living in that city and surviving.

I almost did in the first three years, and then the last three or four I figured it out.

But more than anything, it's just a different city than obviously any other place that you're ever going to live.

Because, well, first of all, it's weird because there's obviously not any other

professional sports franchises other than this one. It's going to be the first one when he's out

there. You're going to get football eventually. The Raiders, of course, you're going to be out

there. But it's outside of that, the strip, it's very strange. It's not a very wealthy
