Veep Stakes is kicking at a high gear. Is it today or tomorrow?

A number of media outlets are reporting that Joe Biden will announce his vice presidential running mate imminently.

It could be as soon as today or later this week.

The New York Times reports that the four-member committee Biden used to screen

potential running mates has effectively disbanded, a sign their work is complete.

Natasha Corecki, Chris Catalago, and Mark Caputo emailed us that Kamala World is feeling good, but there is

still buzz about Susan Rice.

The Unite the Country Pack has cut ad videos of Harris and Rice in anticipation of the

announcement to sources with knowledge of the videos, told our colleagues.

Priorities USA was also prepping on multiple scenarios based on its own hunches.

And women's groups were preparing videos on multiple contenders, in part to stave off the anticipated

sexist attacks they expect will come her way.

There are just too many airports and too many options to throw on lookers off and too many non-aviation methods to get there. If Biden's at the beach, the easiest place for him to go is

GED, the coastal private airport in Delaware. There's also Ocean City, Maryland, and Salisbury, Maryland

close enough, but far enough out of mind. If he's at home in Wilmington, ILG, the Wilmington Airport

in Newcastle, is the way to go. But this is a difficult place to plane spot because they get a lot of corporate traffic.
