I hope you're all doing well.

Actually, you and I were trading dog stories before the show began.

I have one dog, a little Bishon, actually quite a big Bichon, because he might have a wee bit of poodle in him,

and you have a couple of dogs. We're telling dog stories, and that's how we passed her time.

Now, one of the things I wanted to talk about with Don is a phenomenon, and I guess it relates back to the old internet flaming routines that he and I both saw online

dating back to the 1980s where people, because they can be anonymous online, or even when they're

not anonymous, instead of just gently debating back and forth, they scream and yell at each other.

Now, I'm sure you, Don, observed a lot of this when you were monitoring forms back in the 80s.

But we have a phenomenon called, I call it, the one-sentence freak out.

Don, you get what I'm talking about? Well, back in those days, they called it

Flame Wars. Right. And it was frustrating and irritating and angering, but, you know, it simply

took me a while to come to, at least for my purposes, fully understand

the not only the futility of it, but the juvenile almost grade school or junior high school

activity that was being carried on these days, especially if I'm a forum administrator, and I encounter something like
