Robbie Achadri is here with me to answer listener questions about the case of Adnan-Said.

This question is from Kylie Johnston.

If Hay was strangled, wouldn't the state be able to compare

the bruises on her neck to the size of Adnan's hands? Um, no. I think that's something that we

think might happen in TV or something. I don't think it happens in reality like that. In fact,

what's interesting is a medical examiner actually testified that it's even possible

that it was not a manual strangulation and it was with a rope or something, like that there's

even that possibility is open.

It makes sense.

I can understand because, you know, it takes a lot of pressure to do that.

It's not to 10 seconds that the state argued.

It takes a number of minutes for, and it should leave bruising, but

apparently it doesn't. You know, I think in the case of rope and other types of implements

for you, that's more obvious. And in this case, I guess it was so broad, like, wide open,

vague that the medical examiner said, yeah, it's possible,

but I don't, like, we're not sure.
