Hey, everybody, Christian here. On today's bonus content, we recorded what I think is a really

interesting conversation with a fantasy author, Justin Sloan. We talked about, among a few other things,

we talked about what it's like writing for, writing fantasy for video games, and also writing fantasy

when you've been in the military.

So I think it's a really cool kind of craft side chat that I think you'll enjoy.

Before that, though, I wanted to give you guys a few updates on what's going on in the sphere

of Once and Future Nerd. I'm happy to announce that

we have a completed draft of chapter one of book two and that we're about to go into the

writer's room to write chapter two and to get chapter one in a producible state. That's going to happen in the next

couple weeks. And then once we have those scripts, I'm hoping that we'll be, you know,

schedules permitting for everyone involved that we'll be able to go into production by

October or November. So the big old train with lots of moving parts is rolling, and there will be new episodes

of the once-in-future nerd in the foreseeable future.

Elsewhere, if you guys remember a little while back, I went on a podcast called The Great

Albums podcast. Talk about my favorite

album of all time, Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen. And Bill from the Great Albums podcast,

his band has an album coming out. He sent me an advance review copy and, you know, you never,

when someone you've been on a podcast with is like hey check out my album you have that moment of like oh how is this going to be but um i i loved the record uh

i thought it was really enjoyable um you know genuinely moving well arranged well recorded i

feel really good about recommending this if you like
