I love the idea of organic and biodynamic wine and food for that matter.

Perhaps it's because I was raised by a hippie mom.

Or maybe it's because I'm an Earth sign.

But actually, I think it's because the wines often taste great and they do so without

Now before I get started on talking about organic and biodynamic wines, I need to define

what they are. Let's start with organic.

Organic farming is about keeping soil healthy and controlling vineyard issues by using naturally occurring stuff to fight off vineyard problems.

For example, you'll see compost instead of chemical fertilizer on the soil,

and they introduce natural predators into the vineyard to eat pests, spiders to eat

nasty bugs, hawks and falcons to eat rodents.
