Auburn hasn't had much to celebrate on the field the past two years and really even

before that it's been rough and downright disappointing but when it comes to

recruiting off the field lately Auburn fans have a lot to be excited about what

Hugh Fries and his staff are cooking up. Yesterday they flip four-star dual

threat quarterback deuce night from Notre Dame to vault their current

recruiting class into the top five and give Auburn fans

something to feel good about. We can talk about night's ability and how he fits

exactly what Freese wants to do, but for me it's just not about what he brings but who he can bring with him.

Now before I get to that I do want to say Auburn has Walker White waiting in the

wings who's red shirting who I think is going to get a pretty good shot

after this year and they do need to go get a

really good one-year rental quarterback out of the transfer portal.

Something they didn't do last year and they will but just bringing in Duce Knight is going to make other big-time players from this class,

not only want to come, but help keep other big-time players already on the roster, like Cam Coleman,

Malcolm Simmons, Perry Thompson, on the roster.
