But the first thing, Darrell, and you and I've talked about this off air, but this is a team where everybody on the outside looking in said, yeah, you've got young talent, but you're not going to be able to hold on to it.

Like, oh, you're playing all these freshmen, but every time Auburn was met with a compliment or a complimentary stat from a season ago,

it was always met with, yeah, but it's about to fall apart or you're going to lose your coaches

or people are going to portal out or the recruiting classes.

And the fact of the matter is there were several positions where, like, you could have made the argument for key guys

maybe not for this year but for the future of the program for them to leave and darrell it just

hasn't happened no i think you make a great point maybe there's a correlation between coaching

retainment and player retainment and i always have thought from a business standpoint,

if you make the analogy, if you retain your employees, a lot of times you retain your customers.

I think the same thing can be said about all words, because you glossed over that real quick

and that when you talked about that in your intro, but I think it's so important that the continuity
