Summary

Welcome to The Auburn Podcast, your daily Auburn sports podcast presented by Auburn Undercover and hosted by Zac Blackerby. On the show Monday, Blackerby goes solo as he fields some questions from twitter. Most of those lined up toward concerns on the offensive line. Others touched on the running back situation and potential favorite breakfast foods. The tail end of the show also features the Exclusive Auburn Podcast that went up right after the season opener and shows fans and listeners some of what they will get if they subscribe to the Auburn Podcast. Use the following time marks to navigate the podcast: Start of the show: Blackerby starts off the show by fielding some questions. The offensive line has drawn some expected concern about Auburn’s offensive front. The interior part of the offensive line got beat off the ball consistently throughout the game. It will be interesting to see how the coaching staff proceeds with Mike Horton, Kaleb Kim, and Marquell Harrell. 5-minute mark: The offensive line needs to gain their confidence and use this next week to get things together. They should run all over Alabama State this weekend and will attempt to use that momentum moving forward against LSU. 12-minute mark: The running back conversation will continue to be the chatter among the Auburn fans base this week. Blackerby thinks it meant a lot that the coaching staff went with Boobie Whitlow in two key situations including the go-ahead touchdown run and the important third down conversion to seal the game. 13-minute mark: Blackerby expected more from T.D. Moultry in the season opener. End of the show: Blackerby plays the Exclusive Auburn Podcast that went up just a few minutes after the conclusion of the Auburn season opener. Long story short, had to file a police report. Someone hit my wife's

0:23.0

car. So everything's good. Everybody's safe and all. But I was just kind of a, threw a wrench into,

0:29.6

you know, you think you got your day scheduled out and then you never know what's going to happen.

0:33.3

So today, we are going to hit on some questions that people have asked me on Twitter.

0:42.3

Of course, lots of offensive line talk.

0:45.0

And I touched on this a little bit in the exclusive podcast that came out right after the game ended on Saturday.

0:52.2

And just as far as previewing today's podcast, I'm going to put that at the

0:58.7

tail end. This will be the only time. I just kind of want you to know what you're getting. And

1:03.5

also just keep in mind, there will also be a Saturday morning podcast that you will have access to

1:08.0

for as low as a dollar a month. I'd really appreciate it, guys.

1:12.3

I think it's worth it. And several other people do as well. It's not a lot to you, and it

1:17.2

really helps me out a bunch. All right. So looking at Twitter, and you can follow me on

1:22.5

Twitter at Z Blackerby. I put my first Auburn GIF thread up on Twitter, and Auburn fans seem to really

1:31.5

like that. But let's see. Joel asks us on Twitter, what happened to Mike Horton? He seemed like

1:39.2

the linemen we could count on. I still believe in him, but he took a bit of a step back. I don't disagree at all.

1:47.5

I really think the whole interior of the offensive line struggled on Saturday against Washington.

1:55.0

The past few months, I've been asking and saying, hey, they can't replace V-D-V-Veya just by snapping their fingers.

2:03.9

And those guys weren't V-D-Veya, but they were a pretty dang good defensive line.
