0:11.6	It seems like people almost love to hate some parts of the persona of Aubrey Marcus.
0:16.9	I live my life in a way that's according to my own rules. I mean, I'm really trying to live the
0:23.9	freest existence possible. And that doesn't, it's not in alignment with a lot of cultural norms.
0:33.1	And, but it also is expressing a type of freedom that I think people actually long for. I think people
0:38.6	want to live free, not like me. It's not a copy. It's not an imitation. Everybody has their own
0:43.5	unique version of freedom, what it looks like to be free and to live the life that they want to live.
0:50.8	And I think I'm an example of someone who's doing that.
1:00.0	You know, there's, I'm doing exactly what I want to do and I'm living exactly the way I want to live.
1:00.7	And I think that may be confronting for some people.
1:04.6	There's certainly, you know, some accurate, maybe assessments of some vulnerabilities I have that have been exposed. My desire to be
1:13.8	liked is still something that in the recent kind of hullabaloo that happened on the internet,
1:20.0	I got to really, I got to really like take a look at like, wow, how attached am I to being
1:25.2	liked? And so in the attachment to being liked, there's a fear of not being liked, and that can
1:30.9	create a subtle distortion.
1:33.5	So it's not that there's nothing that people are picking up on entirely, but I think the brunt
1:39.1	of it is that I'm living in a truly authentic, unique Aubrey-Marcus life, which is an example for people to say,
1:47.9	like, hey, you guys can do this too. So the delta, the distance that people are from living their own
1:53.0	authentic, unique, George, Sally, whoever they are, I think it's confronting in a way.
