In the epilogue episode of season 6, I'm going to talk with my producer,

Pasha, about making the season. I'm also going to play a few clips that were not included in

the season of the opportunist, but I think they're really interesting and I want to talk about them.

For the last four episodes of this season, I've been trying to answer the question.

Was Lee Price a man who cared more about what people thought of him than doing the right thing?

Or was he a well-meaning person who got so far in over his head that he dug himself into a hole

and he just couldn't dig himself out?

Well, who can answer that question better than Lee Price himself?

One of the most interesting things about Lee Price, to me, is how many people loved him and still

love him. Not just love, but defend. To be clear, no one I talk to is glad that Lee lost all that

money that people suffered because of him. But there's a lot of understanding, a lot of explaining

away, a lot of forgiveness, more so than other people that I've covered on this podcast.

It reminds me of this moment during my conversation with Rodney Stewart Wilcox.

He knew Lee while they were both students at Bruton Parker. Rodney recalled a sermon he heard
