This is a live situation developing. We can talk about the race, there's plenty of time

to talk about the race, but much more present and of considerable more importance first and

foremost in our minds is getting away from La Rasse. Now there was an official evacuation route

which we first of all decided to take which took us down the valley and slammed into a traditional

Tour de France traffic jam at which point there was a brief discussion in the pod car about whether

or not we tried doing the adventurous over-the-mountain route. So we turned around passing an endlessly

long traffic jam and we were stopped by a policeman who said no no no you have to go the official

evacuation routes at which point David just sprung a massive fib to a policeman as well.

It's a great idea he said I just need to go to the parking there but actually he just drove on

and then we're up a mountain and we have seen quite a lot of traffic some of it was stickers on

coming back down the mountain as if the route is blocked. Stickers to reiterate refers to cars

with the accreditation and another one. Switching another one another one. Take the sticker off the car

I think we need to take the sticker off the car. So we don't know what's up this man. See I don't

know whether they're just chickening out because they've seen other cars do the U-turn and come back

because we just stopped at a civilian coming down who was wearing a berry instantly who was

really nice and just said yeah of course he can get over this is the way to Lord and we're like

you sure and he's like yeah yeah it's fine I think he might have been lying but why would he lie

to you David unless he lets you know him from the past and he's got a vendetta against your

you own money or something I mean seems unlikely is it not completely here it's

maybe well he was wearing a Basque beret wasn't he yeah well anyway we're going to find out
