Hello, Fairfax County, 911.

That was the sound of a 911 one hang-up call.

I don't play a lot of those on the show, even though as a 911 one dispatcher,

you'll get probably dozens of those a day, with most of them leading to nothing.

You'll call them back, and sometimes they will answer.

When they do, most of the time, it's simply a

butt dial. Just someone who mistakenly dialed emergency services likely realized they did so,

and immediately tried to hang up, so hopefully the call wouldn't go through and actually reach
