Democrats blocked funding for the agency over ICE and Border Patrol's violent immigration crackdown that has unfolded across the country.

It is important to point out that this represents a political victory for the party.

It is a clear example of them getting something done, building on momentum after weeks of protests in Minnesota.

After midnight agencies like ICE, CBP, TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, Secret Service, and SISA will not get any new money.
