Hey everybody, it's Chris Fork and today I'm interviewing Brent Wisner. Brent is a vice president and senior shareholder at the national law firm,

Baum, Headland, Aristie, and Goldman. Brent oversees all mass tort litigation focusing on pharmaceutical product liability, toxic torts, and consumer fraud class actions.

He's the youngest attorney in U.S. history to win a multi-billion dollar jury verdict.

Brent has achieved multiple verdicts totaling $2.4 billion, including Roundup Cancer Verdicts against Monsanto

and has negotiated mass tort settlements in excess of a billion dollars.

So Brent, I'm excited to talk with you and dig into some of the cases you've been involved with,

specifically Monsanto and cancer and then the Xantac

cancer connection and some other things and I'm excited to see where this goes was that intro good

enough or is there something else you'd like to add to it about yourself Chris that was a really

wonderful intro I have very little to add I think you covered it pretty nicely. I'm a trial lawyer at heart, right? So what I do is I represent people who have been hurt by really bad and evil corporations. And I do what I can to get them their day in court. And sometimes we knock it out of the park as we did in Mont Santo and many times we lose and

no one hears about that. But I like hearing all the victories. You always bat a thousand if you

only count hits, right? Yeah, that's right. Well, I appreciate what you're doing so much personally

because as a cancer survivor and a patient advocate, you know, I, and many folks that that have, you know, followed me for a while, I've read

my first book and I talk about all, not all, but I talk about many instances of corruption

in the pharmaceutical and medical and cancer industries.

And the corruption is deep and it goes all the way down.

It goes from doctors to scientists to drug companies

to federal regulatory agencies and politicians

and even the media.

So I mean, it's pretty vast how much money is influencing pharmaceutical drugs.

And so I'm again, thank you for the work you're doing it as a survivor and a patient and just as a

citizen. It means a lot to me because I think there are, there's so much corruption happening that is unknown.
