I think we will put our troops and our forces at higher risk if we don't recognize the impact of climate change.

Is this especially tense presidential campaign eating away at the economy?

I'm David Brancaccio in Los Angeles. Few will dispute that here in

late September the presidential election seems close. Is this one of the reasons

for the drop we saw this month in consumer confidence.
