Summary

If you watched the janky oddity that is the 2017 Death Note movie or the Scarlet Johansson Ghost in the Shell that also came out in 2017 (what a tough year) this is the episode for you! Anime is massive and yet a successful live action adaptation of one that's as good as the source material seems harder to find than the one piece treasure (With One Piece being the exception that breaks the rule) . Jake explains why this is and we all analyze some of the attempts including Cowboy Bebop, the insanity that is the Wachowski's Speed Racer, and yes even Dragon Ball Evolution because we love entertaining you more than we respect ourselves. Go host, Holden McNeely. Yeah. And our, I guess, Sheriff of Come jokes, Mike Lawrence. Yeah, good Lord. I feel like you've taken my power. I feel like you've kryptonited me immediately at the very beginning of the show. Where do I even go from here? Hey, Hey, hey, hey, hey. Hey, I take control of this splood chlou. I just, you know, he clearly put a lot of work in that. And I just wanted him to be able to do it. It was the milking comment. I said milking, I knew what I signed up for. He said it a lot more. And by the way, he said it a lot more after that. He said it multiple times after that. It made me very upset. But yes, it's true. They've been unmilked. Now are they sated? We don't know. We're back where we started. Back back. If you don't know, if you're listening this out of context of releases, last week we did live action Disney remakes.
