I'm Lurie Daniel Favors, author, activist, attorney, and host of the LaReyreis-Daniel Favors show on Sirius XM's Urban View, Channel 126, if you like what you're about to hear, give us five stars and tell everybody that you know, and if you didn't like what you heard, then just keep it to yourself and, you know, as the saints say, pray our strength. Also remember to check out my YouTube page, the Reid Daniel Favor's Media, subscribe, like, and share, so you get notified when I post videos for my show and go live with my YouTube audience. Now, here is today's latest and greatest breakdownable news. And I brought in some reinforcements today because I know enough about immigration law to know that it is

0:55.4

not in a good place right now, but I don't know nearly enough as this man. He is Alan Orr,

1:44.0

And it's being fashioned in such a way

1:45.8

that if you are a white South Africaner, you're going to get entry and private plane chartered jets

1:51.5

into the country. But if you're a black or brown person who actually followed the asylum system,

1:56.5

applied for asylum, and then got even perhaps in the Kilmar-Abrigo-Garcia situation, had an interview,

2:02.8

had a hearing during the first Trump administration, did what you were supposed to do thereafter,

2:07.3

and now he's somewhere rotting in a prison in El Salvador.

2:11.2

Alan, this is a really troubling situation when we think about what's happening with immigrants right now.

2:16.1

Talk to us about what we the people need to know. I think the first thing that we need to know is that to understand that right

2:22.0

now, the due process conversation that's happening around immigration is not about immigration.

2:26.8

It's about everybody's right to a day in court and the Constitution. So that's the first thing
