If you have the Bible and hope you do, the beauty of the gospel is the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we've got to get to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christianity. It's what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

What should be the goal of our parenting? How should we think about education, athletics, careers, etc.

For our children? And why is it so crucial that we see homes and

families and not simply individuals as connected to the gospel? Parents have the

privilege and responsibility to raise their children for the glory of God.

Rather than fixating on the achievements that our culture celebrates, they must disciple their children with a greater purpose in mind,

namely the Great Commission.

Paul's commands in Ephesians chapter 6, 1 through 4, require parents to teach God's word, model

godliness, and provide loving discipline for their children.

Children in turn must honor and obey their parents as they submit to the Lord themselves.
