Today we have a truly exciting show, a poet whose name is A Tsoro Riley has published after 11 years

his second book. If you are like me, you've been waiting for this book with really

baited breath. And now we have the book. It's one of the

most exciting books of poetry I've read in my life. It's called Herd Horde. That's Hurd-H-E-A-R-D-H-O-A-R-D, and it's published by the University of Chicago Press.

Azzaro Riley is our guest.

He's speaking to us from San Francisco.

Now, I want to begin by asking you, I feel that there's a strong

relationship between the first book and the second book. Can you describe that relationship?

I'm so happy to be here. Of course, it's a pleasure beyond imagining to be talking about my work with you,

the most passionate of passionate readers.

So I'll try to be equal to it.

Well, there's the obvious one that I'm the consciousness trying to make the patterns.
