For those of you who do not know Bruxy Cavey, he is the Teaching Pastor of the Meeting House in Ontario Canada, one of if not the largest Anabaptist churches in the World. Though he sees measures of truth in various atonement theories, Bruxy has a hard time accepting the Penal Substitu...

There's also going to be opportunities to break out and practice spiritual gifts in a kind of biblical,

safe, and orderly way. We've got lectures from myself, Michael Miller, Michael Roundtry, John Mark Baker, from the minor prophets, and Dr. Sam Storms. So if you're looking to move beyond just the theoretical and learning the theology of spiritual

If you're watching this program from the first time, Remnant Radio exists for three purposes.

1:53.1

We're here to, we used to say challenging orthodoxy in old episodes, but now we just say

1:56.9

challenging what is commonly taught in our pulpits because our confessional brothers were a little

2:02.8

offended by challenging orthodoxy. So we've changed it ever so slightly to saying what's commonly

2:07.5

being taught. Jesus said that the traditions of men often nullify God's words. So we're actually

2:12.4

just reexamining what is being taught to say, is this biblically grounded truth or the traditions of men? And the only way that we can figure that out on remnant radio is to invite different pastors and teachers from different traditions, different backgrounds to come on our show to help us re-examine those scriptures. And finally, we want to empower you for practical ministry. According to John 17, 3, eternal life is to know God and Jesus Christ, do me sense. So as we're studying true theology, we believe that it will impact and transform your day-to-day lives with me on the other line. I've got Brixie from the meeting house. Bruxie, how are you doing today? Hi, Josh. This is a wonderful opportunity to do this with you. I'm doing well. It's an honor to have you. Yeah, me too, me too. So tell us a little bit about yourself and your ministry up at the meeting house.

2:54.5

Sure. All right. So the meeting house is an Anabaptist church. We're a bit of an anomaly. From the outside looking in, we might look like a large multi-site megachurch contemporary and style. But from the inside out, we understand ourselves very differently.
