Danny's battle plan series here with the Atlantic Division. A lot of diversity, shall we

say, in this division. So where would you like to begin, Danny? You can continue driving

this ship. Well, I think the reason we picked the Atlantic for today is inspired by the

decision that the NICs are going to retain Scott Perry. The reporting is that it was a

mutual option. And despite the general take that mutual options like this is more true

baseball basketball doesn't have them that they don't get picked up because one side of

the other things they can do better. This one did. I think that says certain things.

And I'm writing a piece about this. I don't know when it'll be up for real. Yeah, about

for sorry, the Atlantic old habits about how why I think this is a mistake. More of the

idea that general managers in the last year of their contracts are going to probably

be more focused on the immediate and in the case of a bad team, which the NICs most certainly

are, that can lead to some real ramifications. And suddenly some of those are in Scott Perry's

own past when he was the number two for teams that were in my opinion, too short-sighted.

And but that's why I thought it would be good to do the Atlantic so we can talk about

the decisions that Scott Perry now has to make. Yeah, I can't remember who had this.

That was it. Felbon who had the stat that Scott Perry is basically like never once worked

on a team those above 500. And I'm guessing that's not going to change for the 20 slash 21

season either. No, it would appear so the other thing there's been a lot of reporting

to just out of New York of like what Leon Rose's plans are. And this is the problem when

as is pretty much the case always with the NICs and they bring a new executive that they

don't allow that person to bring in new people to work under him as is kind of the case
