Summary
During the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, a pipe bomb exploded in Centennial Olympic Park during a free concert—killing two and injuring over 100 people. The nation was horrified, and authorities were desperate for answers.
Before long, all eyes turned to a security guard named Richard Jewell. Once hailed as a hero for spotting the suspicious backpack and helping evacuate the area, Jewell quickly became the FBI's prime suspect.
