And welcome back, friends, to the second part of our triumphant conversation with Mike DeMartino and Brian Kenetsko, who are, of course, the brilliant minds behind Avatar The Last Airbender and The Legend of Cora.

Don't you worry? Now, in that first half of our chat with Mike and Brian, we talked about how they

met at RISD, Rhode Island School of Design. We talked about what happened after RISD and how they ended up coming together to work on the brilliant idea.

We all know as Avatar the Last Airbender.

And we started to get a little into the process, started teasing the conversation about the phenomenal artists in Korea who were utilized for the show and much, much more.

Okay, let's jump into the second half.

Now, Brian, you know, you and Mike had such a strong vision, and here you were kind of working

outside of a traditional Hollywood process. Did you have an awareness of that? You know, it's a small

kind of industry, but the more that we have interfaced with Hollywood at large, I've seen

there is the kind of corporate studio sort of like, hey, this is the way it is. And if you want to

be here by the bright lights, you got to put up with this and that

a lot of people have to because they don't have a lot of other options and so they are knowingly making

stuff they don't believe in knowingly doing work that is below their ability and is cheapened intentionally

because they're trying to make,
