all right good choice so uh... so uh... So Washington DC is trying to do this bill where you know these stupid faith-based

initiatives that Bush has that gives government money taxpayer money to these

religious organizations so that they can carry out charities and stuff like that?

Yeah yeah we all have seen those and been disappointed in them.

Yeah, well, here's kind of the first rub, I think.

There's a bill before Washington, D.C. City Council, I think, where they're talking about

religious organizations not discriminating against gay people.

Yeah, yeah, now the greatest thing to me is the complaint is they

would have to give benefits people. So they're already admitting that gay people are

working for them, but what they're against is giving benefits to these gay people.

Giving benefits to their partners, I think is the main crux.

Because there's already an exception written in that they wouldn't have to

like celebrate or solemnize gay marriages, but they have to follow city laws

that prohibit discrimination against gay men and lesbians.
