Well, hello, everyone. It's Morgan Harper-Nichols here. And thank you so much for joining me for today's

0:05.1

episode. And thank you also for your patience this summer as I plan to bring this podcast back in summer,

0:13.6

and it is technically still summer right now. However, I just didn't get around to getting the new

0:20.5

episodes up as soon as I had planned.

0:23.9

And I am now currently in the fall semester, the second year of my PhD program, and on top of

recording and just pressing record on this new episode just to share something for moving into

1:20.2

September. So I'm going to read a poem that I've been working on for the past few weeks,

1:26.0

and it's called at the threshold of

1:30.1

August and September.

1:34.2

As you move towards September, may you always remember all the changing winds of August

1:40.2

you already made it through, for somehow, through the push and pull of everything,

1:46.0

they did not overtake you.

1:48.0

Yes, you have felt it all,

1:52.0

and you have also made it here.
