Eric, you said this is your friendly local game store. How far is it to get there?

This is aways. It's in Washington, D.C. about six hours of a train ride to get there, but we have been several times vacationing in Washington, D.C.

And while most people go straight to the Smithsonian museums, my first stop has often been this game store.

I first met Kathleen when I brought my kids to the store and the staff immediately welcomed them and said,

oh, would you like to sit down and play something? Welcome. Really happy to have you here.

And the kids are like, yeah, great. I'm happy to say it was just my eldest sat down and started playing.

And we're like, wow, these folks are great. And then Kathleen called us aside and said, we're really sorry.

We're running a camp right now. And your son's not signed up, but the staff thinks he is.

And so we need to fix this. And so we had to very gently let him finish the game he was playing and then escort him out of the store.

But we came back in another year and signed up for the camp so that we could do it for real, which is a blast, which is actually where I wanted to start, Kathleen,

because I've seen pictures that you've been posting on social media about summer camp.

And I want to know what is board game summer camp and how is it going so far?

It's going okay. It's been a big change. We used to do pretty draft like enormous summer camps pre-COVID.

And so this is the first summer that we're back. So we're doing kind of a much smaller program this summer.
