Hello there and happy Friday. Today is Friday, October 15th, and the Philadelphia Eagles

are now two and four after falling to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday

night in a comeback attempt 28-22. Early on Friday morning, the Eagles officially

traded their veteran Titan Zach Erts to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a fifth-round

pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and a rookie cornerback Tay Gowen. Trade rumors have been surrounding

the 30-year-old Titan for quite a little while now and the time has officially come. Zach

Erts has spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles since entering the league

as a second-round draft pick in 2013 and he made it very clear that Philly is home. Zach

Erts spoke with the Philly media and is at the podium with an emotional presser and is

What's up everyone? Obviously emotional day, emotional week. I'm trying not to cry in this one

like last January when I thought it was my last one but what a journey it's been, what an amazing

journey, what an amazing eight plus years, nine years here. Obviously I'm extremely excited to

be going to the Arizona Cardinals, play with the team that is rolling right now and just be able

to add my skill set to that team, ecstatic about that situation and just looking forward to

being able to go into that building and showing the type of player I am, the work ethic I am with

no expectation, just want to win football games. But this is obviously a time of reflection,

this amazing nine years here and you know one of the things that kind of irked me the past
