The Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Seriani and general manager Howie Roseman spoke with

the Philly media and are at the podium with a presser that locked, loaded and ready for

Hurst's contract extension and he shared his reaction to getting the deal done. He also

mentioned that at the time that they recorded this press conference, they were trending toward

adding Matt Patricia to the defensive coaching staff since yesterday. It has been announced

that the Eagles made it official and hired Patricia. Nick Seriani, during the press conference,

also talked about what Patricia could add to the team. Howie Roseman explained how Jalen

Hurst's contract came about so quickly. He was asked about his philosophy on drafting

running backs in the first round. He touched on his comfort level and drafted Jalen Carter

and he talked about how much football matters to Jalen and why he highly doubted that

this large amount of money will affect him. Take a listen.
