until the 2022 NFL draft. Earlier today, he was General Manager of Howie Roseman and head

coach Nick Seriani spoke with the field media and are at the podium with a free draft

pressure. This locked, loaded and ready for you. I'm your host Rachel Prevet in this podcast

of the talking because majority of the questions were towards him was asked about his confidence

and safety's Anthony Harris in Marcus Epps moving forward. He explained his decision to trade one

of the Eagles first ground picks to the New Orleans Saints and he was asked about his experience

drafting players with injuries like landing Dickerson and Sydney Jones. Nick Seriani touched on

his personal approach to scouting and how hands on he isn't a process. He also touched on what type

of player he values and he was asked what side of the ball needs most improvement. Take a listen.

I think we were kind of looking at this year and next year in the amount of picks that we had in

this year's draft and trying to kind of balance it a little bit for a variety of factors. When you

look at having the first round picks in the fifth year option, having that many guys on a fifth

year option, also kind of balancing just scouting all the players in this draft and next

year's draft and having more options and more flexibility at all positions, kind of given the

head start and looking at next year's draft too and seeing that it's strong as well as this year's

draft. So we thought it made sense, obviously from a New Orleans standpoint, we looked back,

there hadn't been really a team that had moved back that far for a first round pick so made sense

for them too and hopefully win-win situation. How much specifically did the quarterback position

and being able to have the flexibility there next year if you need it factor into the decision?
