The Eagles are at the podium and we have it covered here thanks to the fine folk at

Espy Nation and Bleeding Green Nation. I am your host Michael Kist and today Philadelphia Eagles

head coach Doug Peterson faces the media a day after naming Jaylenhertz as his starting quarterback for the upcoming

showdown with the New Orleans Saints. It is a tough task for the rookie in his first

start as the Saints are fourth in points allowed per game and second in defensive

DVA per football outsiders and of course Doug was asked allowed per game and second in defensive devioa

per football outsiders.

And of course Doug was asked a multitude of questions

not only about this upcoming tilt with the saint,

but about this decision to play Hurt in favor of Carson Wentz

and everything about that process.

They had some technical issues in this one, so I cut it a little bit short, but Doug also mentioned

that he's leaving the door open to changing Al-Shon Jeffrey and Jason Peters to Being

starters, so that's basically what you missed and I'm sure that's not infuriating to anybody at all,

when I think it's obvious that both guys are cooked and it should be a fairly simple decision to play the young guys.
