Summary

We're not just immersing ourselves in any old atmosphere on today's retrospective episode of At The Match – we're off to sample one of the most intense atmospheres in world football.

In November 2018 Andy travelled to Italy for a Serie A blockbuster weekend, which concluded with a trip to sample Luciano Spalletti's Inter revival. At the San Siro, he caught up with coach and pundit Kevin Cauet, who discusses what it means about being part of the Inter family and the fans that have kept the club going through leaner times. He also talks about his father Benoit, who signed for the Nerrazzurri in 1997, and recounts his tales of training with Ronaldo and Roberto Baggio.

you the atmosphere from some of the UK and Europe's most interesting grounds and games,

which for obvious reasons, while we've mostly endorsed, I've been really enjoying

Another early morning, initially, is it straight on the train north to Milan to see the first steps

0:27.4

atmospheric, and after wading through stalls of some of the greatest Serie A knock-off money can buy,

0:32.3

we hang out of the game with Kevin Coay. A rising coach has a very special relationship with the club

0:36.7

because his dad Benoit played for Inter and used to come home and tell him what it was like,

0:41.5

training with Ronaldo and Roberto Baggio. This is at the match from Inter vs Genoa on 3rd of November,

2018.

So I've seen a lot of goals over the past couple of days now.

3:08.4

Well, in less than 24 hours actually, we've seen 11 goals which I guess doesn't tally

3:13.0

with the old image of Serie A, it's been really defensive.

3:16.8

But the thing that struck me today Kevin is, until we're really propelled along by the

crowd.
