What's up, guys? Rick here with your preview for this week's Pebble Beach Pro Am. And if you're

watching on YouTube, you can see that I am very clearly not in the stat cave. I'm still in Florida

from PGA Tour live last week. I am about to catch a flight. So I'm going to do something that I did

once or twice last year. I can't wait for the salaries to come out. I'm going to be at 30,000

feet when that happens. So I'm going to use the odds as a reference. There's still plenty to talk

through. We'll cover obviously the salaries and the game theory, the projected ownership on the

Wednesday live chat, but like I wanted to make sure you guys had this on Monday and I wanted to do

it. I'm amped up for this

event, but I'm traveling all day today. So yeah, let's get into it. We'll make the best of it.

All right, let's start with the golf course here. And obviously, this is now a signature event. So

you're getting four guaranteed rounds. You've got the smaller field. You're getting an

amped up strength of field. And Pebble Beach is

very, very unique when it comes to PGA tour venues. It's really short. They've actually

lengthened it a bit, but it still plays under 7,000 yards. It has these tiny little greens,

these little poa greens. It can be exposed obviously to the wind. And what ends up

happening here is you don't necessarily need to try to overpower this golf course. And in some

cases, you cannot overpower this golf course. Playing out of the fairway, being accurate is usually

a better way of playing it.

And then making sure that you can either one, hit the greens or get up and down for par

because you're just inevitably going to miss these tiny little 3,500 square foot greens.

So if you look at this from a statistical standpoint, you're going to see a lot of different

things.
