Last week on Friday, Cory Connors was the most popular player picked on average across DFS contest. He was owned around 2627% across most contests. He had like a 14 foot foot to make the cut on 18. Now let me ask you a question. You do this for a living kind of kind of kind of I really do, but you kind of do.

Is Cory Connors a guy that on the, you know, 36 hole on Sunday, he has a 14 and a half foot, but to make the cut is Cory Connors, the guy that you want to, you want to, you want to bet your money on that he's going to make that, but he would not be, he would not be correct.

Unless you're Paul Azinger, who thinks he's one of the best putters on the pitch or AC or AC or AC. Yeah. So anyway, he didn't, he didn't, he didn't, he's not the guy. I would pick either buddy made it. Okay.

So he makes it in on the cut.

The guy who's the most popular player on and then he ends up having a decent week. Like what did he, what did he, I don't even remember where he finished, but he had a decent week.

Another guy, Pat is Roy McElroy, who laid on Friday on the 36th hole had to get up and down from, you know, like a sizable bunker, there's like a 50 foot bunker shot.

Had to get up and down, had a seven foot putt to get the up and down to get the sandy to play the weekend.

He was like 24 25% of, he makes it, he makes the weekend on the number and then surges up the leaderboard to finish fifth or wherever he finishes, which is not unusual for, not unusual. It's not, not nearly as unusual as Cory Connors making that 15 footer, but it just goes to show you how, you know,

those two things go the opposite direction and last week was a bloodbath in terms of the chalk, right.

Now Max Homa ended up being a little more chalky than a lot of people. Max and Keegan were, to me, a little too chalky for my liking.

Yeah, but we thought Keegan would be chalky. I don't remember seeing Max, Max's ownership, projections, pre pre Thursday, like where they ended up. I thought they were much.

I had a lot of Max in DFS, but I also had I liked Max. I didn't like chalky Max, but that was obviously a mistake. Yeah.

So anyway, it just goes to show you how it didn't the margins are, you know, I put Rory is the chalk bomb. I was having a tough time making the chalk bomb decision last week.

And I went with Rory just based off most expensive player. He was $200 more than John Rom was the week before in a much stronger field.

You know, and it's, it's a new event or a new golf course that, you know, we haven't seen Rory play, you know, at all or maybe, maybe one time.

So, you know, I felt like the way to go. It didn't pay off like in retrospect, Russell Hindley should have been the chalk bomb. He was owned at like, I don't know, like 18% or something or 25, 22% and finished T41. I was just pointing that out because it just goes to show you how in the market are here. You got to get that stuff right.
