pretty cool destination. So I ended up going to Malta because I was planning on

going to Africa in the fall for a T-Bex

conference, a travel blog exchange conference that got cancelled so I ended up with

some extra weeks of vacation that I'd allocated. I wanted to go someplace new that I'd never been,

but also I was targeting someplace in Europe, and someplace that you could see in a week, and Malta is one of those places that you can have a pretty amazing itinerary

So let's start with that with why you should go to Malta.

The thing I love about Malta is the history.

And if those of you have listened to the show, no I'm a history buff, but we have history going back to Stone Age tombs. Plus we've got walled cities like Valletta that I think are some of the most beautiful cities in Europe,

rugged coastline, water activities if they're there in the summer, which I wasn't, plenty to do,

and just a really beautiful country.
