missions, wineries and waterfalls, a pyramid and an emperor as we go to Carataro, Mexico.

Welcome the amateur traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen. We're going to talk

about Caratero. I do want to apologize quickly. I have a new laptop and my

audio is off a little bit on this episode but let's hear about Mexico.

So was I close on the pronunciation?

I would say yes, but remember I'm not a native Spanish speaker either.

Oh, well there we go.

I'll go with like Keretaro, which is close enough. I think the most Spanish speakers would

understand you if they heard it. So first of all, let's put on a map. Where the heck are we talking about

because I don't even know how to say it? Yeah, well neither did I did I right so I got sent here for work

14 15 years ago and that's kind of how I ended up here I had to Google how to

pronounce it as well if you're trying to locate it, like literally take a dart, throw it at the map of Mexico,

and if you hit a bullseye like right in the middle of the country, you've probably hit Keretero.

So we're about two or three hours north of Mexico City in what they call the Bahio region which is

kind of the highlands of Mexico. So it's the state just north of the Mexico

city state, the Distito Federal, so you just drive north of there and you come
