a slow boat, a night market, and Bamboo Bridge as we go to the nation of Laos.

I know that I should be heading home, but maybe not, maybe not today.

Alexis, what's your connection with Laos?

In 2019, we found ourselves at a transition point in our lives.

My husband, he retired from the Air Force and we sold our house and we were kind of

between places to live so we decided to go nomadic for a while. We ended up doing a big road trip across North America and traveled

through Central America and Southeast Asia for a few months and we decided to go

to Laos just because we had heard good things and we went to some of the sort of more popular places that people go like Thailand and we wanted to mix it up with just some more unusual places.

Excellent, and why should someone go to Laos?

Well, Laos is a really cool place to go.

If you're interested in cultural travel, it's a really neat mix of Buddhist culture and French colonial culture and

architecture and it's just a really neat town well Luan provang. I didn't go to the

rest of Laos.

So we were in northern Thailand.
