I'm a little surprised that we've never had you on before

because I've known you for a while,

but this is our first opportunity to do an interview.

What's your connection with Croatia?

Oh, I adore Croatia.

I've been visiting Croatia since 2012,

and it's always been one of my favorite countries

since I first arrived, but things really kicked into gear last year in summer 2020

when I ended up inadvertently stuck in Croatia for two months as I awaited to get a visa to arrive in the Czech Republic.

I can think of worse places to get stuck.

Oh yeah terrible. I mean originally I was in Serbia.

Long story short, I'm American, my boyfriend is British and a permanent

resident in the Czech Republic and there weren't a lot of places where we both could be during

COVID, so we met up in Serbia. But after two weeks in Serbia, there was some political unrest going on
