West Virginia. I'd like to welcome to the show Ethan Starcher from wayward wings dot net who's come to

talk to us about West Virginia.

Ethan welcome to the show and I say West Virginia I think you're actually going to talk to us about Southern West

Virginia more specifically. Is that correct?

That's correct.

West Virginia geography is fun because it's a very round state so saying southern makes people think the southernmost tip

that's not necessarily the case but okay yes southern West Virginia and why should someone go to

southern West Virginia?

So West Virginia is a quiet state up until recently has thrived off of an economy of a natural resources,

not so much tourism, But despite that, it's got incredible

natural beauty and some of the best state parks that you will find almost anywhere that

I've been. Well, and what kind of itiner are you going to recommend for us today?

We are going to start in the southern part of the state near Fayetteville-Beckley area,

And move in a northeasterly direction, I guess.
