Amateur Traveler episode 600 A amateur traveler episode 698. Today the amateur traveler talks about

volcanoes and rainforests, whitewater rafting, and ziplines, bird watching, beaches, and sloths as we go to Costa Rica. Welcome to the amateur traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen.

Before we get into this week's episode, I do want to say something about the

coronavirus epidemic, which is what's going on as I record this.

I also put this in the Amateur Traveler Facebook group but I know that not all of you are in there.

I want you to know what my plan is.

So like many of you I am sheltering in place and I am not traveling because it's the right thing to do these days.

But I won't be blogging and podcasting about COVID-19 on amateur traveler. I'm not a medical expert.

You don't need my opinion. We did do one episode of this week and travel because it's news,

but that's really all I'm going to do about this. And I'm really of the opinion that this

will get better. I don't know how long, but sometime we will get back to work and things

will return to normal and travel will return to

normal, whatever normal looks like. And so I'm going to be looking ahead. I'm going to be helping you

dream of better days. I know for some of you that's not what you're

looking for now if you unsubscribe because this isn't the right time for you to be

thinking about travel no problem I understand but that's what we're going to be doing here and I just didn't want to catch you by surprise
