Varunga. I'd like to welcome to the show Neil from Ireland who's come to talk to us not about

Ireland but about Varunga National Park and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

What is your connection with Verunga National Park

and with the DRC?

I came across Verunga, maybe like a lot of people scrolling

through Netflix and came across the Varunga documentary which was Oscar

nominated a couple of years back people might have come across us and when I watched this and I saw

the conservation work being done there I kind of fell in love and my fiance as well and ever

since we've been kind of keeping tabs on the

park keeping tabs on the charity and the work they're doing and kind of

daydreaming about coming here someday and fortunately a couple months ago, we got to live it out and spend eight days in the park.
